You will be taken to the first waterfall called Goa Rang – Reng Waterfall that located in Gianyar Regency. Perfect for the adventurous, this waterfall is a natural waterfall that located in the lush of jungle. The little pathway leading towards the waterfall splits in two – one direction heads towards the sacred cave and the other towards the waterfall itself.
Goa Rang – Reng Waterfall
As the name suggests, the sacred cave is used by locals as a place for Melukat, a spiritual cleansing ritual for Balinese Hindus. You’re welcomed to explore the cave but only with one of the local guides who are on standby. After a short climb down, you’ll reach the gently cascading waterfall. Unlike other waterfalls that thunder down at 90 degrees, Goa Rang Reng flows down a gentle angle with a natural pool at the top which you can swim in.
After visited Goa Rang – Reng Waterfall, the next stop is Tibumana waterfall. This place is located in Bangli Regency and will be take around 20 minutes by car from Goa Rang Reng Waterfall. Next, you will drive around 30 minutes to get Tukad Cepung Waterfall. Tukad Cepung Waterfall is definitely one of the most unique spots in Bali with sun rays that beam through the falls. It’s becoming a hotspot amongst tourists, as well a very popular Instagram location. The stunning sun rays shine straight through the top of the falls creating natural beams across the canyon like rock formations. You can swim in the waterfall and get pretty close without getting too wet from the spray, so get your cameras ready.

The last but not least is Tegenungan Waterfall. You will expect more people here as it is located close to ubud center but it is still a good place to chill out and swim. Tegenungan waterfall is one of the popular waterfall in Gianyar, Bali. This area is lined with art and souvenir shops, together with small local warung stalls selling snacks and cold drinks. The falls are only several minutes’ walk down the trail beyond the shops, where you’ll enjoy the impressively green valley panorama with the cascading water as a centerpiece.
